Silk threads from Nishijin, gifted bamboo yarn, and wool tops from New Zealand were primarily utilized. Some of the threads were acquired from yard sales and others were donations.

Silk threads acquired from Nishijin (Kyoto) and Yuki (Ibaraki), raw silk from Fukushima Prefecture, and mainly Batt and Top of wool are used. Also included is a small amount of silk thread obtained weeks from Thailand.

The First attempt to merge the unconventional with the conventional. By using an ample amount of Wool Batts, we achieved a soft finish where the textures of the felt and the lace blended together beautifully.Wool batts were acquired in Japan.
The second attempt to merge the unconventional with the conventional. Shredded kimono fabric was incorporated into the thread materials. Wool batts were acquired in Japan.
